Lisa Urban : Texas Bombed

Artist Lisa Urban moved the the Brazos Valley 3 years ago September and the Brazos Valley has never been the same.

From her year long stint as a Navasota Artist-in-Residence to her time downtown, the Brazos Valley has affected every aspect of Lisa's Art. 

As a knitter and fan of animation, her art explores imaginary worlds comprised of fun compositions, bright colors and lots of yarn balls. For this exhibition, she will feature prominent paintings from her time here and unviel a new series involving the inclusion of knitted forms into photos of places that have impacted her the most in Texas.
